Hallmark Movies Now, Crown Media Family Networks’ standalone streaming service, becomes the definitive source for all things Good Witch when all seven seasons and 13 movies of the popular franchise become available Friday, October 1.

Hey! That’s today!

In case you’re unfamiliar with the streaming network, it’s time to get acquainted because Hallmark Movies Now is the home for fans and new viewers to find all Good Witch programming in one place.

Over 50 hours (FIFTY HOURS!!!) of Good Witch will all be in one place just in time to celebrate the Halloween season.

Viewers first fell in love with Cassie Nightingale (Catherine Bell, Army Wives, JAG) in 2008 when the Hallmark Channel original movie The Good Witch premiered.

Six more movies followed, and the network developed the franchise into a weekly primetime series, Good Witch, that premiered in 2015.

During the series’ seven-season run, six more movies aired and became a beloved Halloween tradition for fans.

Good Witch centers on Cassie Nightingale, proprietor of Middleton’s bed-and-breakfast, Grey House, as well as the Bell, Book & Candle shop.

Using her special intuition, Cassie helps her family, friends, and Grey House guests find just what they need in life and in love.

We may not be getting new Good Witch content any longer, but the complete library available at our fingertips is a pretty good second best!

Good Witch is a Whizbang Films production in association with ITV Studios America and is distributed internationally by ITV Studios.

Good Witch Season 7 Episode 10 Review: The Wedding

 Carissa Pavlica at .

Ending a beloved TV series can’t be easy.

It’s just as difficult deciding whether or not the conclusion was satisfactory once a series finale has aired.

While the cancellation was shocking given the popularity and numbers, Good Witch Season 7 Episode 10 follows seeds planted throughout the season to a seemingly logical conclusion.

That still doesn’t mean we have to like it.

For the first time, Good Witch Season 7 really leaned into the reality that the Merriwicks were witches.

Their abilities weren’t brushed under the rug as intuition, even if intuition was a significant part of those abilities.

It also offered a broader spectrum of relationship drama. While Good Witch Season 6 studied Abigail and Donovan’s relationship in some detail and offered Stephanie and Adam their struggles, this season found Martha and Tom, Joy and Zoey, and Cassie and Sam also redefining their loves.

It was a good season, one of their best. Stepping away from the Grey House guest of the week was an important change, and it’s not until reflecting on the season that the reality of that change becomes apparent.

If there was a question of whether Good Witch could thrive without that component, this season proved that it most definitely could.

There have always been more characters than time to tell their stories. When the children graduated high school and moved out, the winds of change were upon Middleton.

After that transitional season, leaping into another layer of storytelling made sense. If there is nothing else good to say about this cancellation, I’m thankful for spending time this final season with the characters we love instead of random strangers.

As it turned out, there was plenty of drama within the Good Witch circle of friends and family to weave compelling tales.

Whether that could have gone on forever must have been foremost on their minds. What kind of a show would it have been if there was another season added to the mix?

The way Good Witch signed off suggests there is still plenty left to say, so it’s sad that this is the end of the series and the movie franchise.

First and foremost, the Merriwick legacy had to be upheld. The first half of the finale was dedicated to stopping the effects of the red-haloed moon.

We learned more about Patience and Fortune and the amulet, which ultimately saved our beloved trio from losing that which they hold most dear — their identity as Merriwick witches.

We never doubted that they would pull through, but seeing them standing in front of Grey House, clasping hands as the moon reflected off of the pendant, was the stuff of dreams if you’re a fan of the supernatural.

This wasn’t Cassie suggesting a special soap to turn a mood around, but a genuine moment showing how powerful they really were and hinting at all that we didn’t know.

Once, the supernatural was all across the entertainment spectrum, but it slowly faded as superheroes took the lead. Good Witch is one of the final vestiges of one of my favorite times in TV history.

And while I should be happy for what was, it’s stories that were never tapped that bring me sadness to see this series depart.

Relationships were either cemented or destroyed in the finale, but in every case, it felt true to the characters and especially the seeds planted during the season.

Tom had his heart surgery, and it only bound him and Martha into a stronger couple, as if that were even possible.

The early storyline, including their daughter-in-law and granddaughter Tommi, held a lot of promise, but they were dropped quickly. There was plenty ahead for this couple in Middleton.

Stephanie and Adam, torn apart during the previous season finale, found their way together again and got married rather than trying to weather time apart again.

If you thought the wedding of “The Wedding” was going to be them, good on you. It never crossed my mind. But I’m happy for them and imagine a life filled with adventures in travels and cuisine.

Joy had a close call with a former girlfriend, making her realize how much she loves Zoey. Nothing like an old flame popping up to show your heart’s true north.

And nothing like a wedding, where you get dressed up and can dance in each other’s arms to get the heart racing.

Joy’s was beating so hard and fast in her chest when Zoey walked in wearing that gown that it was palpable.

Donovan pulled the plug on things with Abigail. It felt fast, but we all know that they spent more time trying to stay together than getting to know each other.

And what they did know didn’t mesh. Their independence was more important than their love, such that it was. They might have been more in love with the idea of love than with each other.

Nobody should have to put their dreams aside for another, and hitching herself to Donovan with his dreams to be Governor would have stifled Abigail, who we know as a free spirit.

I only wish we could follow her to Tuscany to see what’s next for the vivacious Merriwick.

Cassie and Sam were struggling to find time for each other. Their marriage, still in its infancy, got sidetracked with their everyday existence. They forgot to bask in each other’s love and took it for granted.

Sam’s health scare and the possibility that Cassie could lose her magic shook them both out of the haze they found themselves in, and they’ve decided to make the most of every minute.

If the last year has taught us anything, it’s that everything can change in an instant, and if you don’t act now, you might not get the chance.

Cassie and Sam will visit Grace in Milan, see Abigail to Tuscany, and then begin an adventure of a lifetime.

It’s not wrong that I want to hear all about it. Everyone in Middleton (and outside of it) is happy, but I’ll still miss them.

The last page of the book that said “shake the family tree” not only addressed the importance of that tree falling so that they could take care of the red-haloed moon, but it shook some sense into the Merriwicks, reminding them that their dreams deserve attention.

It’s well shaken now, and who knows when the Merriwicks will ever come close to the Power of Three (couldn’t help it) again?

So now, the only way to see our beloved Merriwicks is to watch Good Witch online.

That kind of stings, and I really hope that they’ll reconsider a Halloween movie in the future. That’s what started this ball rolling, and revisiting that structure would be a ratings windfall.

Tell me, Goodies, what will you miss the most? Did the finale meet your high standards?

Thanks so much for reading with me these past years. It’s been a pleasure, and I’ll miss each and every one of you.

I’ll be sticking around for Chesapeake Shores, which premieres on August 15. Hopefully, we’ll meet again to discuss more Hallmark goodness.

Good Witch Exclusive Series Finale Sneak Peek: Shake the Family Tree

 Carissa Pavlica at .

Good Witch Series Finale Sneak Peek: Shake the Family Tree It’s all come down to this.

Thankfully, it looks like the Merriwicks have made it through to their most significant challenge yet.

While they had hit the floor at the end of Good Witch Season 7 Episode 9, Cassie, Abigail, and Joy are hard at work trying to save their legacy on Good Witch Season 7 Episode 10.

After Joy discovered the mold for the amulet, all of their attention will go toward making one.

We cannot imagine that making an amulet is just something that comes naturally.

Since they’ve got under 24 hours to make one that will work and ward off the effects of the red-haloed moon, they have little time for mistakes.https://imasdk.googleapis.com/js/core/bridge3.485.1_en.html#goog_2084204600

And yet, mistakes are going to be made.

Without the knowledge to get it right the first time, expect the Merriwicks to suffer setbacks that will keep our attention until the very last minute.

Let’s be honest.

We fully expect success.

There is little chance that the Merriwicks will lose that which they hold so dear, so how will the series go out?

Once the present danger is controlled, it will be time to wrap up storylines.

Good Witch Season 7 has left these stories undetermined.https://imasdk.googleapis.com/js/core/bridge3.485.1_en.html#goog_2084204602

Will Sam and Cassie commit time to each other?

That’s the main issue they’ve been facing, and we hope they realize the importance of being in each other’s orbit.

Abigail and Donovan have a wedding to plan, and a future to map.

Will they find a way that satisfies them both? Is the wedding in question theirs?

Joy and Zoey are at the beginning of their relationship, so we hope they’ll discover what they mean to each other before the lights fade in Middleton.

Tom has to undergo surgery for his heart.

We don’t expect him to die, so it should just be Tom and Martha supporting each other through one of their darker moments.

Stephanie has left for Paris.

Will we check in with them again, or will Adam be flying solo?

We hope we don’t have to worry about them considering a breakup again.

Happiness for the characters we love is important. Don’t let us down, Good Witch!

To revisit the season, you can watch Good Witch online. Then, be here on Sunday night for a full review after the series finale.

Watch Good Witch Online: Season 7 Episode 9

 Carissa Pavlica at .

You will not believe what happens on Good Witch Season 7 Episode 9.

Something is done for the very first time, and with only one episode remaining, it was none too soon for it to happen.

As the red-haloed moon begins to rise, the Merriwicks find themselves with unexpected abilities at the same time their fabled intuition begins to fail them.

Everyone feels the pressure to preserve a legacy that may be lost.

Sam gathers their closest friends to help with a search for the missing amulet when Cassie, Abigail, and Joy discover a hidden room in Grey House that has historical connotations.

One person was left out of the search, though, and that means that one Merriwick has a lot of explaining to do, and it’s that need to atone that brings to light the heretofore impossible on Good Witch.

With everyone under one roof, tempers flare and emotions run high.

That puts love on the front burner from all angles.

One couple begins to dissolve before our very eyes.

Another battles a miscommunication that threatens to tear them apart.

And still another realizes that they might be pulling back but they don’t know why.

There is a lot on the table, and to see it all, you need to watch Good Witch online, which you can do by clicking below. Don’t miss it!Watch Good Witch Season 7 Episode 9 Online

Good Witch Season 7 Episode 9 Review: The Search

 Carissa Pavlica at .

It’s taken 13 years to get to this point, and just as we arrived, the rug is getting ripped out from under us.

Good Witch Season 7 Episode 9 addressed the elephant in the room with stunning clarity. It was said out loud. There wasn’t any hiding from it.

The Merriwicks are witches.

Not only have we finally uttered the word but it was done many times on an episode that found our beloved trio of charmed ones discovering new powers as the red-haloed moon threatened to strip them of all of their powers.

Of the three Merriwicks, Cassie has been having the most difficult time with current events.

Instead of being fearful of what might happen should the red-haloed moon achieve its goals, she’s welcoming a time when she doesn’t shoulder the responsibility of powers she didn’t request.

Her feelings come from several places. She doesn’t know who she is without magic, and that threatens her.

She has never fully understood where the powers came from or why they cannot see their own futures.

And she’s lived her entire life with the belief that this gift betrayed her upon her first awareness of it when she failed to warn her parents of their impending doom.

It’s not a worthless struggle that Cassie is experiencing. What she’s questioning is the foundation of her existence. So when her parents began materializing before her in Grey House, she got the answers she needed, as did we.

“The Search” was rich with history. We saw Patience and Fortune receiving the amulets, followed by Patience’s betrayal of her family, which put an end to the second amulet the party had been hoping to find.

Cassie’s mother revealed how their family came to possess powers, and the importance of the purple pouches again came to light.

Your heart, your kindness, your compassion. That’s the true heart of who you are.Cassie’s Mom

And most importantly, Cassie’s mom reminded Cassie that it was her heart and how she used her powers that made her so special, not that she had them in the first place, and she admitted her failure to adequately educate Cassie on them, taking responsibility for Cassie’s inability to warn her parents onto herself.

As Cassie realized how much she missed the warmth she felt in the presence of her loving parents, they reminded her that she has that at her fingertips with Sam. That was the final piece of the puzzle that led them from better to good again.

Yes, Sam finally admitted the error of his ways not only in overworking himself so soon after surgery but in promising to Cassie he wouldn’t, a promise he never intended to keep.

Before that, Sam was already hoping to make up for his mistakes. He was called to the carpet by Abigail and her newfound gift to read minds, and George piled on good advice, pointing Sam in the right direction. Gathering their friends for the search was all his idea, though.

Abigail’s new gift had her blurting out the private thoughts of others without warning. It was risky but worthwhile.

Hearing your inner thoughts coming out of another’s mouth makes them a lot less appealing than they sound in your head. Abigail’s gaffe made people question what they were thinking.

Dotty and Davis’s marriage problems are finally in the open, and it’s a warning that ensures that Abigail and Donovan don’t make the same mistakes.

Except for what might be a big one. Abigail hasn’t told Donovan she’s a witch.

Joy: I’m a witch!
Zoey: I wouldn’t go that far, but what you didn’t wasn’t cool.
Joy: No, I don’t think you understand. I’m an actual witch.

That came to light when Joy left Zoey out of the search party because Zoey was unaware of her status.

Abigail: You told her you’re a witch?
Joy: I told her we’re all witches.
Abigail: I’d be avoiding you, too.
Joy: When did you tell Donovan?
Abigail: I still haven’t told him.

But when keeping the secret proved more of a threat than exposing it, Joy blurted it out, uncovering that big elephant so that, for the next and only episode left, it’s not a secret anymore from the ones they love.

Joy’s new power was seeing snippets of the future, which helped her, Martha, and Abigail.

Stephanie and Adam and Martha and Tom were also there and not privy to the greater secret, but I’d sure like it if they all knew by the end of Good Witch Season 7 Episode 10.

Tom’s having heart surgery, and Stephanie’s going away, though, so it’s possible we won’t even see them as Abigail and Donovan get married in “The Wedding.”

That title alone suggests that the Merriwicks will not be down for the count for very long, even as the red-haloed moon rises higher in the sky.

If not for letting everyone in on their most treasured secret, they might not have a chance to keep their powers intact after the event.

But Sam and Zoey discovered that the purple pouches had a saying that led to Dolly Parton and Joy’s grandmother revealing another secret over Light of a Clear Blue Morning.

Everything they touched seemed to hold another clue until the mold for the amulet was discovered moments before the Merriwicks fall to the floor.

Everything about this hour made my heart soar. Everyone other than Dotty and Davis has mended their loves, and with the emergence of new powers and Merriwick family revelations, it truly does feel like the story is wrapping up.

We’re hoping with everything crossed that the Good Witch Series Finale lives up to the entertainment the last 13 years have provided, but that’s a big ask.

If you watch Good Witch online, you know that it’s a very high bar for one episode to achieve.

What do you think? Was this everything you have been waiting for since the beginning?

Good Witch Season 7 Episode 9 Exclusive Sneak Peek: The Unfulfilled Kiss

 Carissa Pavlica at .

The more we think about the cancellation of Good Witch, the less we like the idea.

We need to see so many stories to their finish, and our exclusive clip from Good Witch Season 7 Episode 9 features one of them.

If you watch Good Witch online, you know that Stephanie and Adam went their separate ways at the end of Good Witch Season 6.

It was a shocking development after they had spent so much time planning a future for themselves.

But with Adam’s desire to go on a mission and Stephanie’s concern that distance would tear them apart whether they wanted it to or not, their separation was inevitable.

Good Witch Season 7 Episode 1 found Adam back in Middleton, but his time abroad included a close connection with a fellow traveler.

Stephanie was crushed.

By the time he came around to the realization that Stephanie is the woman for him, she’d decided that she needed the same time to find herself before committing to another relationship, even with Adam, who she still loved.

But fast forward through the season, and you see that they’ve been circling each other despite it all.

Their close friendship seems to be reigniting their spark.

On Good Witch Season 7 Episode 8, their tenderness almost won out as they leaned in for a kiss, only to pull away.

Here they are now, once again together as they help their dear friends Cassie, Abigail, and Joy search for the amulet that offers a solution to the curse of the red-haloed moon and threatens their lives and their magic like nothing else they’ve experienced.

Being thrown together again seems like the perfect time to explore what wasn’t because, just like the rest of us, Adam and Stephanie have been wondering why they didn’t finish that kiss.

This exclusive scene from “The Search” suggests that we might get an answer to that question.

But if we don’t get an answer, then it’s a possibility that we will never know what might happen between them.

That’s kind of unacceptable, so we’re hoping that this scene spreads out with answers.

Check out our clip now, and be sure to return Sunday for a full review of the episode after it airs!

Good Witch Cast Responds to Sudden Cancellation

 Paul Dailly at .

We’re still trying to wrap our heads around the decision to end Hallmark’s fantastic Good Witch.

The news took us by surprise on Friday, but now that we know no additional movies are planned, it makes it all the more difficult.

In the aftermath of the news, stars took to social media to pay their respects to the series, which will wrap for good July 25.

“I am so grateful for 7 seasons… and 13 years (of movies) of being a part of Good Witch, working with the KINDEST and most talented, cast & crew, producers, network! It has always felt like family,” Catherine Bell said on Instagram.

“Cassie Nightingale… a woman who is always positive, inspiring, and uplifting,” she added of her iconic character.

“Someone who brings out the best in everyone she meets makes life better for everyone around, and always sees the glass half FULL. She has inspired me to be a better person, to be kinder, gentler, more loving, and accepting.”

“I know that many of you have felt the same 🥰 I feel so fortunate. I know we will all miss the Good Witch and all the amazing characters and stories. But I am definitely smiling because it happened.”

“It would be unseemly to complain about your show being cancelled after seven seasons, and I won’t. I’ve been very fortunate to have been on other long-running series, but Good Witch was special,” James Denton said in a statement to Deadline.

“The fans were so devoted to the show and I’m disappointed for them, but I hope they know how much the actors appreciated their vocal support. The cast was the nicest collection of wildly talented people I’ve ever been around.”

“The producers treated us extremely well, and I’m happy to still have two movies to make with the network so I’m not saying goodbye to the Hallmark audience yet,” the actor added.

“Good Witch has enchanted viewers for over a decade with eight original movies, in addition to the seven-season series,” said Randy Pope, SVP, programming & development.

“We thank our leads whose chemistry and talent made Good Witch such a beloved and uniquely special viewing experience: Catherine Bell, who has brought the inimitable Cassie Nightingale to life for 13 years, and James Denton, who as Dr. Sam Radford has added so much charm and humor to the series.”

“We also extend our gratitude and thanks to the entire cast and crew for their dedication and hard work.”

What are your thoughts on the news?

Good Witch Season 7 Episode 8 Review: The Sprint

 Carissa Pavlica at .

There is an impending sense of doom on Good Witch Season 7 Episode 8 that is made all the worse with the recent news that the show will not be returning for an eighth season.

It’s hard enough to imagine how they’ll wrap up the story surrounding the red-haloed moon for the season, let alone wrapping up the series in the next two episodes, too.

Putting it lightly, things do not look great for the Merriwicks.

There is often an overarching mystery in Middleton, and it’s not the first time that it has seemed as if we aren’t even close to finding answers.

But during Good Witch Season 6, a significant portion of the story was dedicated to Abigail and Donovan trying to save their love by ending the curse.

During Good Witch Season 7, we’ve had a more lackadaisical approach, with bits and pieces coming only when other stories have been fully addressed.

With so much at stake, I wish the approach had been different.

There are two episodes left, and we know relatively nothing.

We don’t know why Joy’s mother went to such great lengths to protect a future only she saw.

We don’t know why the amulet is so important, nor do we know why the Merriwick ancestors wouldn’t have offered a more dire warning of what was to come.

George: I’m not Merriwick, but that looks like all rock and no roll to me.
Joy: Maybe the rock is wrong.
Cassie: It isn’t. Patience took the amulet with her when she left.

We have no idea where the second amulet is hiding, and more importantly, we don’t know why anyone or anything would seek a way to strip the Merriwicks of their magical, uh, charms.

All of this comes as the Merriwicks face a future that could find them without their abilities. As they dwindle, they’re discovering that they may not be cut out for life without them.

Cassie and Sam are in the midst of a marital crisis. It’s their first, and the first is always hard.

Adam: Hey! Where’s the other half of Sassie?
Stephanie: Oh, that’s their ‘ship name? I love it!

But is particularly difficult for Cassie, who has always had her ways of coping and seeing the light through the darkness. She didn’t need to dwell on her misfortunes because she always knew that she’d be OK on the other side.

Now, she sees only darkness, and her hope is flailing.

It’s hard to tell what Sam is feeling, but I can only guess that since Cassie is normally so supportive, he’s feeling the strain when she’s not. He’s overextending, and instead of easily showing him the way around it, she’s driven a wedge between them.

Cassie’s hurt by Sam’s drive at the hospital. She misses him. She may be worried that he doesn’t see how deeply affected she is by the latest curse upon their family. But Cassie has been his light, and with their rather smooth relationship so far, this is all new to them.

George was right, though. You should never go to bed mad. And it’s even worse when you don’t go to bed at all.

There is something so painful about sleeping apart. You don’t get rest, and that dragging feeling only makes things worse in the morning.

They may shrug it off at dawn, but it seems that their road will be filled with potholes until the finale.

Abigail is also feeling the pressure. Donovan’s brother almost lured him to the senate, which would have separated them before they were married and long after.

Yes, Abigail has considered giving up the flower shop to return to her passion, but she put that on hold when Flower Universe initially pulled their offer. Now that they’re purposefully trying to destroy her business to get a better deal on her location, she’s digging in her heels.

Abigail: Vino and Vases.
Martha: What’s Vino and Vases?
Abigail: That’s what I’m going to call my new flower arranging workshop.

I don’t blame her. The shop represents her hard work in a venture that was new to her. It might not have been Abigail’s passion, but she’s earned the right to either keep it flourishing or sell it on her own terms.

Thankfully, Dotty’s own marital troubles acted as a beacon to the engaged couple to put the brakes on an immediate future that would find them separated.

Somehow, Donovan had missed the signs of a marriage in trouble. That’s not only curious but concerning. People tend to see what they want to see instead of what’s in front of them. And all kids want to imagine their parents happy.

For now, the conversation is closed, but it will open wide again when Donovan tosses his hat into the ring to be the next governor. Yet, it seems like Middleton won’t be Abigail’s forever home.

With the series drawing to a close, they do not need to remain in Middleton. She can sell the shop, open a new business, and act as Mrs. Governor, all without our prying eyes.

Joy’s relationship with Zoey is new, and if the sprint is any indication, they are not on the same page in many different areas. But they’re willing to put it all aside, knowing that what they have experienced so far is special and worth fighting for.

It would be difficult to love someone with a dangerous job. Cassie lost her husband, but she wouldn’t take away what she got from loving Jake for anything. Joy took comfort in that.

The time I had with Jake meant everything.Cassie

She took enough comfort that she wanted to share something with Zoey, too. I thought she was going to offer a little family history. Instead, Joy opened up about a relationship mistake of her past, one that would have never likely surfaced.

At least it’s out in the open.

While the Merriwicks are struggling, their friends are flourishing.

It was Martha and Tom’s anniversary, and although they know each other almost too well, they also proved that a marriage as strong as theirs never runs out of surprises.

Joy: What’s shakin’ Martha?
Martha: Me! With excitement!

They celebrated their love by arranging for their friends a fun spring, and Martha did an amazing job planning the affair, as always.

The event even inspired Adam and Stephanie to lean in very close for a kiss — that never materialized.

But with the way Adam is helping Stephanie reach for the stars, it’s not hard to imagine they will find themselves in familiar territory sometime in the future.

It’s doubtful that we’ll be around to experience it because I expect that Stephanie will end the Good Witch series run with a stint in Paris, taking her culinary craft to the next level.

Then again, Paris is for romance, so Adam may want to spread his wings to European soil.

We’re so close to the end now that I can’t help but hope that the future holds a Good Witch movie or two to show us where the characters we’ve grown to love.

For now, you can watch Good Witch online, and I hope you drop below to talk about where you see it all ending.

Good Witch Ending with Season 7 at Hallmark

 Carissa Pavlica at .

Everything good must come to an end.

And this one is going to tear at your heart.

Hallmark Channel announced today the series finale of the network’s original primetime show, Good Witch.

Sam Radford has added so much charm and humor to the series. We also extend our gratitude and thanks to the entire cast and crew for their dedication and hard work.”

This is heartbreaking for Hallmark fans who have enjoyed the movies and subsequent series for all 13 years.

Good Witch Season 7 Episode 8, airing this Sunday, finds the Merriwicks struggling as forces threaten their abilities and happiness.

That doesn’t offer a lot of time to wind things up so that everyone gets a happy ending, but this is Hallmark. So we’re hoping for a win.

We also have a hint of what will come from the series finale.

On Good Witch Season 7 Episode 10, the series finale, the Merriwick cousins get ready to face the mysterious force putting their family legacy at risk while changes are in store for others in “The Wedding.”

That will premiere on Sunday, July 25 (9 p.m. ET/PT), on Hallmark Channel.

Catherine Bell, James Denton, Sarah Power, Catherine Disher, Kylee Evans, Katherine Barrell, Marc Bendavid, and Scott Cavalheiro star.

Catherine Bell has starred as the lead character Cassie Nightingale for a magical 13 years when Hallmark viewers were first introduced to her in the 2008 original movie The Good Witch.

The popularity of Cassie and her adventures in the bucolic town of Middleton led to seven more movies.

In 2015, the franchise was adapted as a primetime series that enjoyed seven enchanting seasons.

Good Witch is a Whizbang Films Production in association with ITV Studios America.

Darin Goldberg, Orly Adelson, Jonathan Eskenas, Craig Pryce, and Frank Siracusa are executive producers. Catherine Bell is co-executive producer. Janina Barrett serves as supervising producer. Colin Brunton is producer.

Julie Lawrence and Angie Cassiram are associate producers. Good Witch is distributed internationally by ITV Studios.

Good Witch Season 7 Episode 8 premieres on Sunday, July 12 at 9/8c. Here’s an exclusive look at what’s ahead.

For now, you can watch Good Witch online to relive the best the characters have to offer.

Please drop down below into the comments to share your grief at the end of this wonderful, uplifting series.

We’re here to commiserate with you!

Cassie: Halloween.

Emma: I was really hoping that we could get here at the same time, but, well, you’d have to talk to our commanding officers about lining up our schedules.

Kyana Teresa talks about starring in ‘Good Witch,’ digital age, and Viola Davis

Actress Kyana Teresa chatted with Digital Journal’s Markos Papadatos about starring in “Good Witch,” “A Sisterly Christma,” being an actress in the digital age, and she revealed her dream acting partner in the acting business.

In “Good Witch,” she played the role of Zoey Taylor. “Being a part of the ‘Good Witch’ cast was such an amazing experience. It actually helped me realize that I would love to focus on more television roles. What was especially great for me (especially coming off of short stint movie sets) was just how smoothly everything ran,” she said.

“The show operated like a well-oiled machine because the cast, crew, and production had all worked together for such a long time. This meant the days flowed easily, were organized and I got home at a decent hour every night,” she exclaimed.

“As an actor, what I loved most about playing Zoey Taylor was that she was a fully realized character,” she said. “Meaning she had depth and balance, strengths and weaknesses, a rich past and future goals.”

“It’s actually one of the few opportunities I’ve had to play a role like that. Unfortunately, actors of color are too often delegated to the ‘supportive best friend’ or ‘sidekick’ role. We exist solely as a vehicle to further the storyline of the white lead. So this was a breakthrough role not just for the show, not just for the network, but for me personally as an actor,” she elaborated.

On her daily motivations as an actress, she said, “What inspires me as an actor each day is pretty simple: Gratitude. I feel so beyond privileged and blessed that I get to make my dreams a reality. I think about how proud little Kyana would be of what I’ve done so far, what I’ve gone through, and the risks I’ve taken to get here.”

“I still have a lot more to do and a long way to go, but whenever I feel overwhelmed or I’m doubting myself, I think about the roof over my head, the food in my fridge, the air in my lungs, and simply the fact that I got to wake up today. I remind myself nothing is permanent and that every day can breed new possibilities. One audition, one phone call can change your life,” she said.

She was also a part of “A Sisterly Christmas.” “I was so excited when I learned that I was going to be working on an OWN production (and one step closer to meeting Oprah) I play the antagonist of the movie Reginé Radcliffe. She is a pop star diva like no other, and you do not want to be on her bad side. I might have had just a little too much fun playing her,” she said with a laugh.

“It’s rare in Canada that you get to work with a predominantly black cast and let me tell you, the experience was incredible. The vibes were high, the culture was strong and the love was real. I’m really excited for audiences to see it during the upcoming holidays! It’s all about overcoming fears and old grudges to find true love and happiness,” she said.

On being an actress in the digital age, she said, “It’s honestly pretty cool. The fact that I can connect with my audience and vice versa in real-time is something that still amazes me. I  definitely didn’t have that ability growing up watching my favorite celebs. If you wanted to learn about them you would have to catch their interviews on TV or in physical magazines. Now you can just check out their socials to get an instant glimpse of their lifestyles, and opinions.”

“Now of course there is always a flip side to these parasocial relationships but luckily my experience so far has been overwhelmingly positive,” she exclaimed.

She listed Viola Davis as her dream acting partner. “I would absolutely love to work with Viola Davis,” she said. “She is one of the most talented actors I’ve ever seen and I know I could learn so so much from her. Beyond knocking it out of the park with every single role, I also love listening to her interviews. She had an extremely hard life growing up and hearing her story of how she overcame and triumphed is so motivating and inspiring to me.”

For young and aspiring actors, she said, “There are going to be a lot of people who will want to place limitations upon you. Don’t be one of them. You have to be your number one cheerleader. Keep training, keep working hard, and keep showing up. Opinions, doubt, and judgment from you or about you will never serve you so do your best to keep them out of the equation. So much about success in this industry is your mindset! Keep that strong, and you’ll already have an advantage over 90 percent of other actors.”

On her definition of the word success, she said, “To me, success means living authentically and creating a life that you can feel proud of, whatever that looks like. For me, it looks like honoring and embodying my core values. It looks like acknowledging my weaknesses and actively working to better them. It also means being gentle and kind to myself on the days when none of that feels possible.”

For her fans and supporters, she said, “You’ve made me feel so loved and validated as a person and an actor. What an honor to have a ride or die group to support and back you up in all your endeavors. Together we are going to make a big difference in this world, I just know it.”FacebookTwitterLinkedInEmailShare

In the aftermath of the news, stars took to social media to pay their respects to the series, which will wrap for good July 25.https://188a4bf891e77e8e7ec7e2161400ad3b.safeframe.googlesyndication.com/safeframe/1-0-38/html/container.html

“I am so grateful for 7 seasons… and 13 years (of movies) of being a part of Good Witch, working with the KINDEST and most talented, cast & crew, producers, network! It has always felt like family,” Catherine Bell said on Instagram.   Fake TV Relationships That Got Realhttps://imasdk.googleapis.com/js/core/bridge3.472.0_en.html#goog_1950943985%5BAdvertisement%5D Your video will begin shortlyReport this Ad

“Cassie Nightingale… a woman who is always positive, inspiring, and uplifting,” she added of her iconic character.

“Someone who brings out the best in everyone she meets makes life better for everyone around, and always sees the glass half FULL. She has inspired me to be a better person, to be kinder, gentler, more loving, and accepting.”https://188a4bf891e77e8e7ec7e2161400ad3b.safeframe.googlesyndication.com/safeframe/1-0-38/html/container.html

“The producers treated us extremely well, and I’m happy to still have two movies to make with the network so I’m not saying goodbye to the Hallmark audience yet,” the actor added.https://188a4bf891e77e8e7ec7e2161400ad3b.safeframe.googlesyndication.com/safeframe/1-0-38/html/container.html

‘Good Witch’ Is Officially Coming Back for a Seventh Season

From Country Living

  • The season 6 finale of Good Witch aired on July 5 on Hallmark Channel.
  • The popular drama, starring Catherine Bell and James Denton, had strong ratings all season long.
  • After Hearties received good news about the fate of When Calls the Heart, Goodies started to wonder if Good Witch would be picked up for a seventh season.

Goodies, it sure felt good to be back in Middleton. And while some fans are still recovering from Grace Russell’s emotional exit at the end of season 5, the sixth season made it clear that the show can — and must — go on. With that being said, the season 6 finale came and went, leaving fans to worry if Good Witch is coming back for season 7.

Good news, Goodies: Hallmark Channel just confirmed that Good Witch is returning for a seventh season. “On the heels of its recently concluded successful sixth season, Good Witch has been greenlit for season 7,” the network wrote in a press release. The show, which returned for season 6 on May 6, had impressive ratings throughout: The premiere episode had 2.9 million viewers, helping make Hallmark Channel the #1-rated entertainment cable network over the weekend among Households, Women 18+.

When is the Good Witch season 7 premiere date?

While the season 7 premiere date is still up in the air, it’s likely that Good Witch will return in summer 2021. But it is important to remember that we’re currently living in uncertain times, so there’s a strong chance that filming will be delayed or interrupted.

What will season 7 be about?

Storyline details are also up in the air, but it’s safe to say that the seventh season will pick up right where the season 6 finale left off. Now that Goodies know that the curse has been broken, it’s safe to assume that the upcoming season will have a wedding, budding romance, or reconciliation of sorts. Maybe Adam and Stephanie will get back together? Or Joy and Carter will see each other in a different light? There are so many possibilities.
